Nothing is Wrong

And just like that,
Everything disappears,
You'll be left wondering.
And hiding tears.

"What did I do wrong this time?"

Sitting alone in the bathroom,
Pretending everything is okay,
Fooling everyone, then no one,
All in the same day.

Just don't ask what's wrong.
"Nothing", I'll say.

Author's Note
Aww, this makes me sad reflecting on the events that triggered this thought.

I jotted this down a couple months ago and saved it as a draft. I was going through a moment of uncertainty, feeling as if I needed to hide my feelings and then, being unable to do so.

When the world is shaking and you still have to keep walking...that is how you measure your strength. ❤
