Woman
I am a bad woman,
A take-no-shit-from-no-man woman;
I am a proud woman,
A make-a-man-wanna-drop-to-they-knees woman;
I am a sly woman,
A make-ya-think-before-ya-talk, woman;
I am a passionate woman,
A sexy-sweet-make-love-to, woman;
A take-ya-to-the-top-of-the-mountain, woman;
The kind of woman who knows all the spots
And can ride a man all thru the night, woman...
I try to be a man's only woman...
But it's hard to choose from all these
Fine ass, strong ass, sensual ass, makes a woman say
"Damn!" ass men!
Whoa, a woman so bad, so proud, so sly, and so passionate
Can't possibly choose between all these men!
But there be days when I feel like an ugly woman,
A who-can-stand-this-two-faced-bitch, woman;
A no good woman,
A nothing-but-a-whore, woman;
A filthy woman,
A nasty-ass-hoe-who-sleep-wit-all-these-men, woman...
But that's only the days I feel like a depressed woman,
A woman so deep in the deeps
it feels like she can't get up, woman...
A woman whose so used and abused
that she can't breathe, woman...
A woman so tired of living
That she just wanna die, woman...
That's when I realize that i need to be
A man's only woman...

Well crafted. The form and the content combine to contrast the 2 mindsets very well . I felt the punchline was a little weak perhaps, missing out on an opportunity to work with 2 women / one man ? Liked it though and welcome to DU.

Nothing like a woman that knows what she wants!
Really well written and descriptive piece. I liked how it flowed from each word.
I also see a lot of truth written not just in plain sight but between each line.
I appreciate the struggle women in general face to be recognized wholeheartedly by this world and their peers and of the opposite sex in particular. (Just my take on a few points within)
