Evening's tragic hands-held tingles

Reveries of destiny
Inside the fading rest of me
Evoking a moment that will always be
Some joke of neverending mystery
Solemn silence screams persistance
Laughter lingering in the distance
All that is still still fails to stay
Yesterday still torn away
Evening flickering like yesterday
Dead like yesterday
