Breathe With Her

I keep
Breathing for her
A fraction of the breaths
I wish to breathe with her

Drawn by the myth
The mystery of her
Intrigues
So entices me

My hard exterior
Belies the tenderness inside
The emotional lover I wish to be
That surrounds her

I could drink her
But sips would never be enough
And yet gulping
Can’t give the true taste of her

Rather I just breathe her
Have that aroma
Waft in my senses
For all time

The scent of a lover
That never fades with time
