So Close, So Far....
So close,
so far…
the trial we stand…
To fill moments without arms with the spirit,
Is a glass overflowing with hope.
So far,
So close….
The separation we endure…
To feel love in your soul,
but also the absence of the physical forms,
is to blister in the cold awaiting the return of its warmth.
So close,
So far….
Though I hold him tightly in my heart….
To hold a longing in my arms,
when were apart,
when waitings the hardest part.
So far,
So close….
My skin against your lips…
The lingering aftertaste on my mind, when the only want is for you to stay in my arms,
while you can only remain a thought.
So close,
So far…
The result of patience….
The only fragment holding me together…the future we are building and the knowledge of being loved the way I love you,
more vast than the summer sky...
Nights with you, nights apart...
We still shine whether it be in sheets or sharing the sight of stars from afar.
So close we remain....
No matter the wait...
No matter how far.
so far…
the trial we stand…
To fill moments without arms with the spirit,
Is a glass overflowing with hope.
So far,
So close….
The separation we endure…
To feel love in your soul,
but also the absence of the physical forms,
is to blister in the cold awaiting the return of its warmth.
So close,
