Minders of moments
I write to see the smile that rises
That dawn's from the corners of your eyes
As you tilt your head to harbor their shy
To see the settling of a stars shine
Fettle the surface of their wells
I write in the sound of laughter
As it ruffles through the presence of your mornings curls
I write from the passivity of your fight
To give light to the ferocity of your tenacity
And I write to leave these words
The minders of moments in flight.
