Don't be scared...
If in the middle of the night
You are woken by
The feeling of someone in your room

Your eyes wide and searching the dark
Pupils dilated in the blackness
Straining to see
the slightest movement

Not daring to breathe
incase "it" feels your fear
and hears the tremble in your heart

You don't move a muscle
But you know you must...
Soon... in a minute,
you reason with yourself in your head

Still listening, hearing your own
heart beating in your chest

Suddenly...

Movement, fast and swift
Your feel a hand over your mouth 
Cutting off your scream...

Don't be scared...

Just know that...

I wished upon my angel
And wished with all my might 
That he would deliver the one 
That I  love
Into my arms to me tonight
