Along the edge

As to a misty mountain
Along the edge of Big Sur,
To stand back
Quietly to observe.
Alabaster
A skin so satin and fine
Gentle, you swirl the crystal of red wine.
Do you like candles, at night?
Their way of casting shadows,
Flicking…the wild in your eyes.
The whispering mind ...
To be let in...to let your soul touch, .
caress and stroke...empower,
To run our hands, over our souls
As to the crystal of a gypsy’s ball, should behold,
so to begin...?
Yet,
Quietly I still observe
As to a master piece …
A print, a painting a photograph…
Vision is, a test of time…
How beauty does last….
And to the edge of Big Sur
Would you take me with your words…
As the crystal is emptied,
More and more,
Night delivers her moon into the awaiting sun.
Fill me with your imagination,
With your youthful contemplation …
For with a glance
Unbeknown,
Seeing,
A spark,
A gleam,
Reasoning for wanting in
Yet,
Quietly,
I observe,
Along the edge of Big Sur.
