I'm ready

Beautiful, blue. I really liked this one...
Especially in cases where one is suffering, death should feel as more of a celebration than a mourning. My grandpa, for example, was starting to get really bad dementia. He also hurt all of the time, and was on tons of medications. He really wasn't even himself in his final years. His death we was mourned, only because of our attachment to people... His death should have been a celebration.

Thank you NewBeginnings. Hearing you talk about your grandpa reminds me of my dad's mom. Her health faded away in the same fashion.

It's a good poem, but really sad.

It is a sad poem but a snap shoot of what I was feeling. As this day comes to and end another day will arise. This poem ends in peaceful silence. The next one I write i hope it brings sunlight into other people's day.

To me this appeared sensual. A love story. A tease and appease for death to do as she please.
I hope you find your spark to shine with a new day as death becomes defeated in your soul
