A Side Deal of Heaven

      "Overwhelming grief causes many to morn
That is considered by several an everyday norm,
      "Unwanted representation for agonizing depression
Ususally feed with suicidal isolation,
 
      "A desperation call before emotional walls crumble
Now a roar is heard from a mere mumble,
      "Flash flooding with negative feelings
Because on the soul it feels like the Devil is scheming,  
 
      "But honestly we are nothing, but a side deal of heaven
So with borrowed time we are only sharing,
      "Because long ago living right-we stop askin
That's why fire and lightning is driving us to desperate action,
 
      "Consider it the consequences of illusionary free will
Having us fall into the matrix of the red or blue pill,
      "Regardless, the choice is always hard to swallow
Leaving us decapitated like Ichabod Crane in sleepy hollow,
 
      "The more we worship, the more broken we become
Dancing within delecate flesh under a cancerous sun,
      "Layer by layer as we slowly peel away
A reminder from heaven about us dying everyday,
 
      "A moment in history can also be considered a moment in time
With the word 'eternity'  having the same meaning as dying,
      "Lasting beyond what we will ever understand
Because in the end we all must kneel before the man,
 
      "Like an orchestra our life story we must sing
In order too grasp the golden ring,
      "But with heaven's side deal the contact can sometimes burn
Only for a infinite second, but that's all it takes for us to learn,  
 
      "Or in truth, it could gloriously be that precious
Created uniquely for only us,
      "Something from the heart that was given
An internal guidline on how we should be livin".
