Slaves

Those who only conform will always be slaves
Change is only erected by those that are brave
Many in their graves have never taken a stand
Advocating for something is the epitome of a man

A man doesn't sit around as injustice is going down
He does all he can to defend the black & the brown
Pound for pound considered as the greatest threat
All around the world we're treated with disrespect

The media projects images of us as super predators
When we're Soldiers of war going on infinite tours
Kicking in the doors that they won't willfully open
Fighting for our needs instead of praying & hoping

Coping by any viable means that we consider fit
As everyday our psyches are taking powerful hits
Forget all of that hugging & forgiving our enemies
Man, take a stand and knock them to their knees
