Love to last?

I endeavour to quench this thirst.
Morose and downtrodden when alone.
Something about her sets my heart apace.
After much consideration,
I decided that
The schism that separates us,
Cannot stop the love
That gently we shall yearn.
To unite at summers peak,
And yearn we shall again,
Once it begins its decline.
Never such genuine feelings have I felt.
Beautiful and loving.
Gentle and soft.
Wouldn't it be amazing for such love to last?
I believe and hope that it shall!
