Tesla's Love Villianelle
Combusting, everything ignites
with parts and static everywhere;
I’m terribly, in love tonight.
The scent of lightning sharp tonight;
twinned tesla coils and acrid air,
combusting everything, ignites.
Capacitors, resistance, flight
electrifying circuits there
so terribly with love tonight.
A sparking gap positioned right,
charges met within a stare;
combustion; everything ignites,
Magnetism, bolts of light
with oscillations, impulse squared,
burn terribly, in love tonight.
Voltage resonates, despite
polarities of this affair,
combust and everything ignites,
I’m terribly in love tonight.

cleverly twisted, a more interesting villanelle than many i've read. in this case, the poem comes through more strongly than the parameters, so that's great. a villanelle fit for today :D
i think you could lose the 'the' in one line and add the suffix, leaving you with 'electrifying circuits there' without losing anything from intent and meaning.

I love the subtle twists on L3 of each stanza! Punctuation adds an entirely new dimension. This was exceptionally clever and well executed.
