Raphium Series~The Knowledge

    
the mists compile their secret knowings  
kept in ancient tomes and brought to memory    
when magic is awakened from the forests of thought and rises  
   
b-e-s-p-e-l-l-e-d and deeply rooted in the heart of h[er]story    
magic once guided a spirit's days    
from umbilical cord to umbilical cord  
wisdom was born naturally  
discernment part of the very nourishment--    
a mother shared with her child  
   
mother's didn't have unruly offspring
out of necessity, her children obeyed
each woman with a song unique to her child...sang to them  
her voice melodic and beautiful guide their path  
she communicated truth telepathically and they listened  
   
I hear our great Mother's voice in the now  
she is singing to her children
