Listen To Me Sing

Is that resentment in you eyes?
What is it that you strive?
You may have found me a broken man
But you have yet to see all of who I am
Just don’t give up on me.
I swear, things aren’t as bad as you expect them to be.
Hold onto my hand, don’t let me sink to the bottom of the sea.

Please, don’t sail away
I’ll do anything to make you stay.
Don’t let me become a memory.
Call anchors away and go out to sea.
Follow the sunset away from me.
Jump overboard in misery
Listen to me sing
You will float back to me.

You were never wrong .
Don’t listen to the sirens song.
It will take you places you didn’t belong.
All you will see are the memories.
Of things you once loved more then me.
Whisper in your ear come back to me.
In the sirens lies and deceit.
You will wake up broken and lonely.

Please, don’t sail away.
I’ll do anything to make you stay.
Don’t let me become a memory.
Call anchors away and go out to sea.
Follow the sunset away from me.
Jump overboard in misery.
Listen to me sing.
You will float back to me.

Here we are, lost more than ever,
You are my love, there is no one better.
A baby on the way, with no income or pay.
I’ll always have faith in you and me.
This is our destiny.
Can’t stop dreaming of the future,
And what’s to be.
I will always love you.
P.S. you are so beautiful to me.

Please, don’t sail away.
I’ll do anything to make you stay.
Don’t let me become a memory.
Call anchors away and go out to sea.
Follow the sunset away from me.
Jump overboard in misery
Listen to me sing.
You will float back to me.
Don’t let me become a memory.
Wash back ashore and start a family.
Follow the sunset to you and me.
Fall in love for eternity.
Listen to me sing.
