He’ll say he truly loves you and then steal your heart
He’ll say the perfect words just to reach your paradise
And once he’s satisfied his thirst then he will depart
You won’t see truth till you pull the wool over your eyes
Or worst yet, you will debate if this is what true love’s about
All the while he’s ready to devour you and then spit you out

It's the confusion between love and lust and then one is left wondering "why was I treated that way", then it becomes heart breaking. But one has to experience once or twice in order to recognize it.

Yes, someone very close to me.
Saw it twice and it's happening a 3rd time, slight variation but looks like the same outcome. Just wondering how long it will take this time. All I can do is observe and write and hope it's not as bad this time around.
