Golden Parachutes
Should the company merge or even fail,
The CEO gets to walk away with more,
Meanwhile employees are left jobless,
While millions go right out the front door.
There is no sense of social responsibility,
Corporate profit is always the bottom line,
During shady deals they tend to look away,
And when asked they never saw the signs.
But the more fucked up thing about it is,
Some told their employees to invest,
Meanwhile the fuckers sold their stock,
Raking in millions for their “little nest”.
And yet it’s all written in their contract,
What the hell were shareholders thinking?
It’s just another way for some to get richer,
While others try to a save ship that’s sinking.
But when some firms reported quarterly losses,
Some bosses were fired or made to walk the plank,
The reality of it all is once they left the building,
These CEOs laughed all the way to the bank.

Superb, Wally! Fuckers is right on the money. They get golden parachutes and the workers get golden showers.

A little dyslexia perhaps.
I suggest removing that "some", seeing as how you use it in the next line.

I had gone back to school to finish my degree right around the time the economy tanked and learned all about their shenanigans. It made me realize how corrupt the top can be.
