Synesthesia?

Yet again, the night has gotten ahold of me...
A wistful melancholy, an ennui has befallen me,
Listening to music, thinking about my past memories,
My entire life so far, flashing for my eyes to see,
Listening to melodies...
Not a longing, as in, I am discontent with my life as it stands,
But would like to go back to these times and/or places sometimes, and push back the sands
Of the hourglass,
Before it reached it's critical mass,
And experience them again, with my new, more expanded, older, mind,
Combined
With the way I felt then, just...a new angle added onto it,
Just for a minute....
Is it still called "daydreaming" when it's at night?
Something here isn't right,
I feel the feelings the memories give me,
They are all flooding to me,
All these memories as I remember them,
Each gem...
Feeling each era of my life,
Each set of two-four years of my life,
And each place I've been.
Each song (even some I've only recently discovered),
Have uncovered
A new combination of emotions,
In relation to some place and/or time and/or motions
I've been in or done in my life,
I've been trying the past few years of my life,
To explain this phenomena I have experinced my whole life,
But only recently been able to diagnose/clearly see in my life.
Is this a type of synesthesia?
Where auditory sounds, particularly music, triger in the mind a picture,
Of some place been,
Of a culmination of subconscious thoughts from places been
And places seen in art, book's descriptive text, games, movies, videos, and dreams?
Where songs are seen as memories, it seems,
As moving, panoramic photos of real events/places, dreams, and the mind's creations, that have motion and at the same time are static.
What is this amazing phenomena, mystic?
I can't seem to find this in any text, online or traditional, how tragic....
