A time to despair
A time to despair
I hear it in the air
Internal sirens sound
Panick abound
What if, what if?
What if I loose it all?
What if I stray and fall?
Towards the dark abyss?
When you look into the mirror
And all you see is failure
Let light shine on your heart
The light of what you've been through
Say, have you never fallen?
Never gotten up again?
Let each such time be a sun
To guide you through the rain
A mother's love has taught me this
Do not, do NOT surrender
No matter what color, faith or gender
We are united in this bliss
That doors will open in the mist
As long as you keep walking
As long as there is just one chance
The time is not to fear
If the last chance ever goes away
There's still enough time to despair
But friend, listen, is there ever really no chance left?
People have come back from war and lived
People have come back from homelessness
People have survived concentration camps
People have survived cancer
Until it's over there is always a chance
So when is the time to despair?
Never, it's always time to care
And do whatever you can do
Until it's over there will be a chance for you
I hear it in the air
Internal sirens sound
Panick abound
What if, what if?
What if I loose it all?
What if I stray and fall?
Towards the dark abyss?
When you look into the mirror
And all you see is failure
Let light shine on your heart
The light of what you've been through
Say, have you never fallen?
Never gotten up again?
Let each such time be a sun
To guide you through the rain
A mother's love has taught me this
Do not, do NOT surrender
No matter what color, faith or gender
We are united in this bliss
That doors will open in the mist
As long as you keep walking
As long as there is just one chance
The time is not to fear
If the last chance ever goes away
There's still enough time to despair
But friend, listen, is there ever really no chance left?
People have come back from war and lived
People have come back from homelessness
People have survived concentration camps
People have survived cancer
Until it's over there is always a chance
So when is the time to despair?
Never, it's always time to care
And do whatever you can do
Until it's over there will be a chance for you
