The next meal
Comes from
To fill this heart
Malnourished
With nothing to feed on
Praying for rain
To water the ground
Of my heart
My seed to grow
Bread be made
To fill this hungry
Heart of mine
I want to grow it cry's out
I want to grow it daily yearns
I want to grow is its song
I want to grow an unending quest

I love this spill and the Q's
but it still leaves me wondering WHAT exactly it is that You are searching for.....thirsting for........hungering for
(i struggle with metaphor and simile and many forms of poetry and so it might just be me here not understanding. Also, i am a schizophrenic and so that might play a part in my understanding.)

Every heart wants to be filled, a hunger exist therein, and a thirst abide. The WHAT differs from one individual to another.
It is not you not understanding, it was a question for everyone to look within.
