Forced Upon
Walk across this floor
As I once did
With cold bare skin
Between a cage of pink walls
These awful plastic shower curtains
It was agonizing and terrifying
I tried a lifetime of denying
Those few minutes that changed me
I rocked to and fro
In a sea in trembling
I've not seen a blue sky
I've not felt a warm night
Torturous memories
Keep your disgraceful face alive
I thought you died long ago
But you remain in my mind
As vile and violent as then
Mastermind, keeping silence
That sacred secret to keep
To ensure I can never rest easy
While you never lose a moment of sleep.
