Depression

That dark cloud is hanging around.
That one that comes without a sound.
It needs no reason and no expectation.
You never even have an explanation.

You don't know why you feel the way you do.
You don't know how, why, or least of all who.
They think they caused it, but it is what it is.
It's this deep, dark, never ending abyss.

How do you explain something you can only feel?
How do you feel something that doesn't seem real?
It's like the weight of the entire world is on your shoulders.
No matter how hard you push, it just keeps getting closer.

It feels like it's you versus everyone else.
First it's them and then it's yourself.
They get first and you always get last.
Leave these toxic people in the past.
