I feel like I have to shout
to get anyone to listen
All my words feel powerless
yet I know what I wield
If only people would listen
I'm sure I could make a difference
I feel so muted
Like i'm irrelevent
But I'm smarter than that
I won't be silenced
This world doesn't know me
But they will in time
When I set my mind on something
I always follow through
to get anyone to listen

Echo Gahdess Worship's comment. Can imagine a would-be Greta Thunberg from the feel of the poem especially these stanzas:
