Never Confuse Me for A Fool
I can see through lines
I can read through lies
The words used
To beautify and confuse
A twisted version of the truth
I can be your puppet
I can be the puppeteer
I can be the victim
I can be the volunteer
I can disarm or adhere
Fall away or follow-through
Just know that I know what you know
And though I may appear as ignorant--
A quiet member of the herd
I know the manipulation
I can distinguish what I truly heard.

I am.an introvert but I can and do speak up when I need to. I think the willingness just to stay quiet and observe makes it difficult to be lied to, you can see through the lies that are directed at you. Thank you for taking the time to read and leave your thoughts, it is appreciated, my friend.
