for the girl with the lovely curves and all the insecurities
you are a beautiful miracle
for the girl with the scar-covered wrists
you are good enough
for the girl who loves too deeply even when they're not deserving
you deserve so much more
for the girl who flinches at her own reflection in the mirror
look a little closer
for the girl about to throw herself into the darkness
open the blinds, let in the sun
for the girl who goes to sleep each night hoping for a brighter tomorrow
you are not alone
- i have been her, and i still am.
