The Good Ole Days
Ye olden days have gone astray
Much to our dismay
No more remoteless TV
Farewell to Channel 3
Limited selections viewed
Color screen subdued
Ne'er a recording by the hour
Or phone with wall power
'Tis memories of yester year
When there was nothing to fear
No locks needed on doors
No chimes needed for chores
The stove was well worn in
And everyone was thin
Neighbors knew you well
Many stories to tell
Tis' easy, simple time then
Yet all good things end
Much to our dismay
No more remoteless TV
Farewell to Channel 3
Limited selections viewed
Color screen subdued
Ne'er a recording by the hour
Or phone with wall power
'Tis memories of yester year
When there was nothing to fear
No locks needed on doors
No chimes needed for chores
The stove was well worn in
And everyone was thin
Neighbors knew you well
Many stories to tell
Tis' easy, simple time then
Yet all good things end
