My Soldier's Creed

I am a soldier/ I went through hell and back /I am soldier I told you/ I stay at the ready while others lay up and nap/ as people clap thier lips and hands and sap out oxygen that remains/ while others cleave on to false hope and lead others to do the same/ while others wear their titles like a badge of honor and embrace public fame/ I am soldier I told you and people like them around me will either repent or be brought to open shame/ I dont claim to be part of the majority but I will lead a nation from glory to glory/ I am sure you never heard of me/ but just like an explosion from a hidden nuclear bomb you will definatly know of me/ the impact of my mission is greater than me/ and I am doing all I can to be who I can be/ in indeed my Lords army/ because I am a soldier like I told you/ my weapons are authority, prayer, faith, worship and prophecy/ I remain in divine clarity but utter out divine mystery/ my personal history will not be duplicated/ which is why if people from my past were to evaluate me/ they would seem clueless and uneducated/ I am persuaded/ that like seasons and times/ things and people of certain kinds can and will grow to become outdated/ such outcome can cause a shift that can lead others to become frustrated/ and I will possibly face persecution/ the funny thing is the name of my plaintiff is commonly known as confusion/ I smile when I am misunderstood and I enjoy the amusement/ I got nothing to prove and I have been updated end of story now on to the conclusion/ I am a soldier I told you / I am zealous and extreme on what I believe/ i believe that the Christ in me now lives and Joshua is dead/may Joshua rest in peace
