Cemetary
Stuttered thoughts and misplaced words
Crumbling vocabulary
Wrangled thoughts and worded herds
Stumbling voluntary
Weak and weighted down
Shepherd of stone
Everyone is gathered here....
Waiting alone
The oak tree has stood vigilant
For all its years
Buried in each leaf
A new leaf for each new fear
Each leaf, each leaf so green
Amongst the old and grey
Unacknowledged wisdom
Alone to wait
Tending to the forgotten
Behind stereotypical iron gate
Lost life within a hole
Leaves a hole within a life
night will win, dusk cannot
As day defeats the dawn
The fighting never stops
Transitions on
Life tried,
Then died....
Memory cries....
With humbled thoughts and harkened words.
