Dear Kurt
it's been twenty
plus years since
you cured your
addiction and
left the flanneled
ghost of a generation
to wander the
rainy streets of
Seattle looking
for their next
fix
...slacker

My son used to be obsessed with how he died. He drew his portrait constantly. Wow. Twenty years.

Closing in on 25 actually. I loved the 90's and no other band respresented the decade more.

I was a grunge kid in high school in the early 90’s. I remember the day Kurt died. It felt like a big loss right in the midst of a music defining decade.
“ Something in the Way”
“Plateau”
“ Where Did You Sleep Last Night”
These three are my favorite. Unplugged album/video is still just as breathtaking today as it was the first day.
Nice trip down memory lane.

Although i am much older , that time in the 90's was one of the best decades of my life. The attitudes and culture were so much more open than today. I seemed to fit right in with the grunger's. I miss that time dearly. Thank you for your words Errie.
