I love the graphic and the poem is genius!
There is such a contrast in the very first line - "Modern day beatniks!" The image itself strikes a rebellious pose.
It's such a fun play on words, even E.E. Cummings would be delighted.

loved the cleverly inerspun juxtapositional metaphors in this my friend...poetics & the digital ..the space of du will extend till wordistic eternity & the digital will (de)grow until robotics & beyond, & dunn know what..best for the comp. with a great entry :)

Ingenious Ahavati!
Although I found it awkward to read, because some lines needed to be kind of read twice (with and without the bracketed parts), the double meanings and interplay of the various parts made the poem all the more connected and satisfying to read.
I liked the two extremes: lovers and warriors. Carbon bytes of poetry was good too. Perhaps bringing to mind the link between carbon based beings and silicon based machine. Yes ... I like that. Especially as it ties in with the (un)bracketed meanings.
Nice bit of alliteration at the end. I do like a little alliteration.
