Abandoned Conclusions
It is a shame
that as I lie here
after that leisurely soak
to conclude another Sunday
my tartan robe
loosely parted
to feel the cool breeze
of the night
waft across the uncovered places
that my bed is empty
and those heavenly lips
are not nuzzled into my neck
or those soft hands
are working with my skin
to plump me
for a proper goodnight.
