Wolf's Den

He sits alone watching on high upon his pack. The loving nature of the cubs and mothers. Closing investigating for an attack. Longy the desire of his lover.

Rarely does he ever leave his den. Its not his place to be in the crowd. Remebering his childhood he wasnt permitted then. To be amonst others just wasnt allowed.

Smell strikes his nose a very different scent. Flames engulfing around as he scrambles to save them all. He runs the mothers and children to cover energy is almost spent. He sees his beloved knocks her from the top to thr rivers below forgive me lover.

The flames surround him now no where to go. He sits to the ground itll not be long. Tear feel his eyes the torment in his soul. As he burns he sings a painful song.

Flames have died. The pack soon returns. His lover cried. This cave his urn.

Later she scream time comes differently again. She clamps in a push a cub is born. The likeness uncanny almost a sin.
Another wolf in the den protector adorned.

He sits upon the hill. Watching the cubs play. Watching lovers love, mothers nuture for the rest of his days. Thinking of his father and what his mother would say. The eternal loop in lifes eternal maze.

As you look around and see a lonely heart you dont know their burden. Remember the story of the lone wolf in his den.
