No Loneliness

There is no loneliness in the midst of nature
as trees sway in a buffered wind
the daisies sprouting by your red river dreams
in appreciation of things not even being

skies move sullen eyes to a horizon
with hues made for kings or queens
quaint shades of saffron spilling out
with purples, pinks, and rouge

the sounds soft and filled with serenity
calling gently to the breeze
footfalls rustle amongst bent grasses
as whip-poor-will sing goodnight to day

there is no loneliness as we wander
lost in wonder but found within the peace
