thanks for the comment ... although the Pitchford inquiry has been dragging on (as they usually do) I think it's repercussions will be extremely wide ranging ...  The tens (maybe hundreds?) of women who tried to build lives with these undercover policemen on the false premise that they were someone else.  The undercover policeman who infiltrated those around Stephen Lawrence's family in order to spy on them for the Met.  For all we know they could've been part of the racist gang that murdered Lawrence.  It goes on ...  I recall PK Dicks, A Scanner Darkly ...what about the undercover police who are victims of this policy with scrambled identities ...  Then there's the effect it has on the wider society within which we live ...
