I emptied my soul
into an ink pen
only to have it bleed
all over pristine white
pages, reminding me
that perfection is not
found or obtained
it's a stain

Kinda like when old stuff won't shine like the new but keep polishing it anyways over and over hoping for new shine only to find the same ol same.
