Man hates what he can't love,
and shows contempt to none
except the deserving.
Man is an animal,
only distinguishing factor being
knowledge...
of good and of evil.
Man only gets jealous
of things he can never have.
Man desires acceptance,
and love.
Man is a wicked creature,
...an evil schemer,
Man is lethal...
a heartless killer,
that' why death drags close by.
Man is a mystery.

I like the way the element of "Man is a mystery" is teased out with such a range of possibilities.
