Constellation lullaby

Waning moon eclipsed neath stars,
Thoughts provoked fascination.
The sleep nigh in witching hours,
A traveller roams in desperation.

Specks a light in shade of grandiose,
A momentary lapse in time.
Repeats nights of breaking dawn,
Grant him sleep, grant him chime.

Remorse a treason in space,
Nergal sips deep.
Ending of a cosmic wander,
Mind lays the keep.
