Easier Said Than Done

Some things are easier said than done
Just like promises that are meant to be broken and not kept
Just like some resolutions you make every year only to forget
 
I can't promise you I will not do any wrong
That's impossible to keep  
For I am only human that sometimes forget
I will not always please you sometimes I may test your patience
For I am an emotional being and my emotional state keeps changing and fluctuating now and then
 
Allow me to be me please don't try to put me into a mold
I won't fit any molding that is contrary to my nature
I can't change who I am
Please don't treat me like a rose when I am a sunflower
That loves to follow the sun  
To bask in his warmth
 
I cannot promise anything that I cannot keep
I can only be me with all my flaws and eccentricities
I don't need your pity nor sympathy
Please don't make me feel less about myself
