Alive
Never knew what it was
never cared to see
in world that was blind
branches hid the brush
the tenderness of touch
daylight hit my shadow
a deep discovery of dawn
each morsel of flesh
filled with flavour
satiated succulence soon to be savoured
the one who nature gifts her sun
each ray a bloom
enlightened in ecstasy
there's a little rasp in her twirl
that feeds upon my senses
swirling in my veins
alive
we come alive
