Running Pig

Screen door shuts
Hear repeated grunts  
A pig runs through the house  
Is he really chasing that mouse  
He chases him here and he chases him there  
They even stopped to give each other a glare  
Then off they go again  
Up and down the stairs  
As I watch in dismay  
Counting all the repairs I'd have to pay  
Not today I say to them  
I got the broom and gave them a scram  
Out they went  
Pig still chasing that mouse  
I am just glad they are out of the house
