"No Tomorrow"

Let us stand together as one, but only when the world comes crashing inward towards our faults and misshapen problems. Show us the cause, look in the mirror, and blame ourselves for the destruction of our precious land. The winds blow for the last time throughout humanity and as it whispers into our ear, the meaning of life will be revealed to us. We shall not interpret its words into ones of our own, but leave it to lie on the once lush plains below us. Tear shall fall around us, as our eyes glare at one another soon to be demolished into our misfortune's fate. Few will smile, for they need to feel the ending, as it falls from our hands. Some will embrace their lover so tight it hurts, but no one cares because they want to die with their love in their hands. Most will scream, believing that they do not need this, that they are dreaming this and nothing of this is happening; they will fall to their knees and grasp the round. All will close their eyes, for they do not wish to see their ending crawling closer. I will stare into the face of the Atomic Explosion that will kill me soon; I will remember my whole life before my eyes and through my head, so here's for No Tomorrow.
