Getting Old

Getting Old

Dining on sausage at high noon
When good folk are at home cooking
My lunch is prepared
By a lovely Vietnamese lady
At the gas station down the road
Where guacamole and refried beans also wait
She serves her greasy spoon food with a grin and giggles
Which makes the cholesterol go down sweetly
As love on a Sunday afternoon
