A Rotten Weed

Weeds that sprout
Searching to fill gaps
Clinging on to beauty
Choking it slowly
Rotten roots digging in
Parasitic vegetation
With no purpose
Wants its ugliness
To spread among the flower beds
A poison
That never needs the sun
An everlasting reminder
That somethings need to die
Somethings won’t be missed
