hiccup
beauty is hidden within the hiccups of my soul
gentle and kind inside of innocence
there lies the truth of me without any guile
the sea rushes in to touch my inner girl
she shies from the world
tending to her sacred garden
a place in the shade for you to lay
when you're done burying yourself in the emptiness
seek me in the sunshine
little drops of Venus to massage your pain
when the soul of you remains
left to linger with me until the darkness comes again
and you are on the hunt once more
feasting on female flesh in a savage manner
heroin kisses rain down on me
to dull the pain when you put it in another
still, it sticks in the heart of me
I cry inside did you know you carry the soul of me with you?
your wrath reserved for midnights without any name
my eyes are dazed with lies I tell myself
quietly I tend my garden...tiny poppies of ache
until you call upon me anew
then slowly bloom for you taking you deep inside
where you can forget for a moment the demon
and become the man I can believe in
