Together we stand

In a world of Waring race
Nameless people and unfamiliar faces

We walk alone side by side
Hide a tear and take it in stride

Mindless shuffling to the grave
Say a prayer and hope to be saved

Yet amidst the struggle few take a brake
And carry others yoke for humanities sake

Even though our misty eyes can't hide the fear
Those who are truly blessed send others cheer

We learn that rolling stones gather no moss
And lifes comforts and well being rely on a coin toss

But I say damn the masses unified lie
We can make it together as long as we try

Help your neighbours with a smile
To weather the storm even for a little while

Together we must stand against the faces of stone
And see the forest for the trees to know we are not alone

Realize the strangers we see are one in the same
Because only united we will win this game
