The Amber Hue
In the amber hue
Of the setting sun
Your eyes come alive
Like dancing fires
Contrasting the coming velvet night
Majestic beauty of a goddess
Gods and men
Have spoken about such things
But words
Fade to nothing
When bathed in your aura
It’s why we worship
The feminine form of woman
You breathe love
Where love has been forgotten
Whispering on the wind
Surrounding senses
Seeping into lungs
Like sweet giving life
Of the setting sun
Your eyes come alive
Like dancing fires
Contrasting the coming velvet night
Majestic beauty of a goddess
Gods and men
Have spoken about such things
But words
Fade to nothing
When bathed in your aura
It’s why we worship
The feminine form of woman
You breathe love
Where love has been forgotten
Whispering on the wind
Surrounding senses
Seeping into lungs
Like sweet giving life
