Was this really what I chose

I always follow my emotions blindly
It’s a chain reaction that never stops
The same effect every time
Another false echo of love
A mirage on the horizon

Promises of heaven keep whispering
But broken dreams are all I have
No miracles to save me
This beauty I see is but a reflection
