A Letter to Jossy

A faithful day it was
when I proposed love to you
Blessed with a perfect serenity at the time
Visible footprints of the moon seen upon the skies
You looked, smiled and uttered,
'I will wait for you'.

I possibly could not agreed to the wait
In my heart I doubted your existence
Broken in pockets and wallets
Love's uncertainty stroke in a million ways

In me I breathed you
and felt your sweetness
Like a Phoenix love arose in me
and rebirthed not in me but as me

On my chest I Iaid my hands
Within my soul I searched
and extracted the best
You are my best Jossy
You are my mood of a poem
each stripes perfect
In you my heart finds solace

If I could dance like Patrick Swayze
In a calculated romantic floor moves
that nourish the heart and soul
with plentiful laughter
I shall dance and waste no time

I have seen and tasted Heavenly blessings
You are the chief of them all
A glimpse of God's love
moulded and presented in human form
till stars absent themselves for a night devotion
I shall love you always
