twists the knife-
with a taste for blood
pain my folly...
I fall for you every time
within a masochistic nature-
varied visage...same man
it hurts...
I will be judge-
over my own execution...
a thousand little cuts
of the razor-will make you die-
I prefer quicker means...
a clean cut to the throat
Master lust has had his way
I writhe with a feeling
undulate in the aether-
if you will I depart from this realm
be deadly and fast-
with the weapon agony
chained to mortality
doesn't befit me...

*hugs* You are so raw Brenda. It is strength to spill unabashedly from the wound. Sometimes I feel like too much artifice makes a write bloodless.
I also thought pain my folly was a great line, it speaks to me about the second arrow, a buddhist concept. How we make mistakes or are even ashamed just for our natural vulnerabilities. We can hardly avoid the first arrow, making mistakes, having flaws, but the second arrow, beating the shit out of ourselves for them, can be avoided. :P
