Once broken it cannot be repaired  
For when it is broken
They claim a piece of your heart
Holding it high
As if they had won
Was this their goal all along?
Or was it simply a mistake?
They way they tore you apart
You might never know
Maybe neither will they
It could be that  
Someone has led them astray  
Whatever may be the case
The outcome is not solely yours
For they must face it too
Deep behind swollen smiles
Lies sin and incompetence  
And no matter how much you cry
Those tears will only leave you broken
